With chilled party boats to cruise on, mountain bike trails to shred, waves to jump, whales to spot and even planes to jump out of, you’ll be warming up in Noosa in no time this winter.
Whether you’re the sit back and relax type or you’re on the go from sun-up to sun-down, Noosa’s got your kind of holiday adventure covered!
There’s plenty of sunny skies and gorgeous weather so you’ll have all the time in the world to get out and explore Noosa’s nature this winter. And you can still jump in the ocean if you’re a little bit brave.
Sail into the weekend, kiss a magical winter sunset goodbye, party on or even get married on-board the Catalina Noosa, an ultra-glamorous floating bar and event space on the Noosa River.
Say ‘goodbye week’ and ‘hello weekend’ with the Friday Night Social - 3 hours of river cruising, sunset cocktails, great food and live music. Or get the crew together for a lingering, lazy lunch on Saturdays, or Saltwater Sundays that mash-up beach club with river lounge to farewell the weekend.
2 bars, 2 levels, DJs, live music, street food, cocktails and the glorious Noosa River…. Enough said!
Land on a stunning beach near Noosa on a tandem jump with Skydive Noosa – and save $30 while you’re at it. Yep, jump out of a plane from 15,000ft, free-fall for a minute, then pull the ‘chute and float above the Pacific Ocean, beaches and national parks until your two feet are planted back on the sand.
You can scream, you can cry, you can even say a rude word – no one else but your jumping crewmate will hear you. You know you want to try it at leastonce in your life.
For a different way to get around Noosa, ride the riverside pathways, coast road between Sunshine Beach and Peregian Beach, mountain trails or country roads.

Take your bike riding a step further and enter the Noosa Classic event on Sunday 18 August, with a choice of 3 rides through Noosa’s hinterland – something fun or full-on. Don’t worry, the lycra won’t take up much room in your suitcase ...
Riders in last year’s inaugural Noosa Classic event received the ultimate sub-tropical welcome with the mother of downpours – but they were all smiling as they crossed the finish line and vowed to come back. Fingers crossed for kinder weather this year.
Apart from the incredibly unseasonal rain last year, August is a beautiful time of year for a bike ride in Noosa – it's mild, usually sunny and the hinterland air is crisp. With rides of 160km (Maxi Classic), 120km (Challenge Classic) and 45km (Social Classic) there’s something for everyone!
The Maxi Classic winds through Noosa hinterland towns and lush valleys, up challenging climbs with gorgeous country and coastal views, and returns through the magnificent Mary Valley. The easier and more family-friendly Social Classic takes in the sights closer to Noosa including Boreen Point and Lake Cootharaba.
Noosa Classic Village at the end of the ride in Tewantin will have music, entertainment, massages, displays, local food and drinks.
