Boreen Point Campground is an ideal bush and beach family holiday destination. It’s on the white sandy shores of Lake Cootharaba, about a 25-minute drive from Noosa Heads.

Lake Cootharaba, part of the pristine Noosa River system, is very popular for sailing and fishing. This large, shallow lake has clear water and is a safe environment to swim and play. Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are available from the office.

A family pub and general store are within easy walking distance of Boreen Point Campground.

The grounds offer camping in a tranquil bush and beach setting yet are less than 30 minutes from Noosa’s Main Beach and holiday hot-spots.

Free-range camping spots are set in natural bushland while the lake foreshore is dedicated to tents only. There are a number of powered sites which are suitable for tents, caravans, campervans and RVs.

After a big day exploring the lake, meet up in Boreen Point Campground’s camp kitchen which has gas barbecues.
