Tourism Noosa is the official tourism organisation for the Noosa Council region on the Sunshine Coast including Noosa Heads and Noosaville south to Sunshine and Peregian Beach, and from Tewantin to the Noosa hinterland towns of Boreen Point, Cooroy, Pomona, Cooran and Kin Kin.
An award-winning organisation, Tourism Noosa has twice collected the Queensland Tourism Award for Tourism Marketing and Australian Tourism Awards and has won gold and silver at the Queensland Tourism Award for Visitor Information and Services. Our Welcome to Noosa Online Induction and Customer Service Program won silver in the Education and Training category in 2014.
Tourism Noosa works collaboratively with local businesses and key stakeholders to promote the diversity of the destination to domestic and international consumers, trade and the media in line with the Destination Noosa Strategy 2020 - 2023.
We are one of the strongest tourism membership organisations in Queensland with over 900 members in 2020-2021 who come from a diverse range of sectors including accommodation providers, tour operators, restaurants, retail businesses, real estate agents and health and wellbeing, just to name a few.
All of these business share one thing in common - they are committed to the development of sustainable tourism within our region.
Celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2021, our not-for-profit organisation reports to the Tourism Noosa Board of Directors, consisting of representatives from membership, industry and community.

Tourism Noosa runs the accredited Visitor Information Centre in Hastings Street, Noosa Heads where our local volunteers welcome thousands of visitors each year, in addition to the countless email and phone enquiries. The state-of-the-art Visitor Information Centre features digital display screens, an exhibition space and public artwork, not to mention a wealth of information on what to see and do while in Noosa. It's open every day except Christmas Day, from 9am to 5pm.
