Weekender TV Noosa Episode: Our dedicated Visit Noosa episode on Weekender aired last night on Channel Seven. A result of our media hosting program, it covered members from Hastings Street to the Noosa River and hinterland, showcasing tours and experiences, retail, events, dining and accommodation.
Sunrise in Noosa: Sunrise weatherman James Tobin was in Noosa on Sunday at Noosa Main Beach doing the weather crosses and showcasing the Noosa Festival of Surfing and the upcoming Noosa Eat & Drink Festival. The media value from the morning crosses was close to $3million.
Business Events Meeting Planner 2021: For operators working in the business events sector, Tourism Noosa’s new Business Events Meeting Planner is aimed to entice more meetings, incentives, conference and corporate events to Noosa. Tourism Noosa members working in this space including accommodation, tours, activities, attractions, experiences, restaurants and professional services (such as Destination Management Consultants, transport, entertainment and other services) are encouraged to take part in advertising opportunities.
Mentoring Program - Become Trade Ready: Tourism Noosa is providing a small group of members the opportunity to work with the travel trade through a one-on-one mentoring program. Designed to help businesses boost revenue streams, become more profitable and resilient to market changes, the program will provide the tools and knowledge to develop their business through the traditional trade distribution system to key partners and online travel agents (OTAs), and through media, social, content and e-marketing channels.
Tourism Noosa Trade & Business Events Manager Vynka Hutton said “Working with trade partners has never been more important. Consumers will continue to rely heavily on travel agents as being one of the most influential, trusted and important sources when booking holidays, perhaps more than ever. With borders re-opening and sometimes closing, people will book through travel agents for the security, flexibility and safety they provide, due to the risk of border closures and cancellations”.
Enter the World of Noosa …. New Marketing Campaign: Our new winter campaign has launched in domestic markets and New Zealand, with beautiful new messaging inviting travellers to enter the world of Noosa. Following on from last year’s Enter the Biosphere campaign, it continues to focus on Noosa's coastal and river experiences, green hinterland, eat and drink experiences and events. Targeting the drive and interstate markets, including cities with direct flights to the Sunshine Coast, the campaign features a range of activity across print, digital, newsletters and social media.
