🌊 Join Noosa Sailability – Sailing for All Abilities! Starting March 2025 🌊
Experience the freedom of sailing with Noosa Sailability! Designed to make sailing accessible to individuals with disabilities, this 24-week program offers a welcoming environment for people of all abilities to enjoy the water. $10 per session (payable through NDIS), our program is led by qualified instructors and supported by dedicated volunteers.
Program details: Start Date: 6 March 2025 Duration: 24 weeks (excluding school holidays) When: 9.30am every Thursday morning
Under the guidance of our experienced team, participants set sail on 12-foot Vagabond dinghies. Carers are welcome aboard to ensure a smooth experience, and our new mobility transfer device ensures comfortable access for those with mobility challenges. A dedicated safety boat is always on standby for extra peace of mind.
Support Sailability: Sailability’s success relies on community support! Events like the Noosa Come Together Festival and Noosa Gaff Rig Regatta help raise essential funds. Donations and sponsorships are also warmly welcomed.
