We took Noosa’s business events sector to New Zealand, attending the first Business Events Expo NZ, held recently in Auckland.
180 New Zealand-based event buyers attended the event to source information and potential leads for conferences and meetings, incentives, corporate travel and retreats for their clients.
There is significant opportunity for Noosa to attract more of the New Zealand Business Event market for smaller corporate groups of 10 to 200 people, particularly in the incentive and corporate retreat space.
The expo was a chance to demonstrate the significant variety of experiences and activities in Noosa that corporate planners can incorporate into their programs.
There is great demand for Queensland, and huge opportunity for Noosa to capitalise on the lucrative Business Event market.
Tourism Noosa was joined at the event by Sunshine Beach Surf Club and Visit Sunshine Coast (pictured).
We also updated trade partners, Air New Zealand, Tourism Australia and Tourism & Events Queensland while in NZ.
