Tourism Noosa attended the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) on the Gold Coast from 30 April to 4 May. This is Australia’s largest annual tourism business-to-business event to communicate destination updates, strengthen relationships and develop forward business, necessary for Noosa’s future in international visitation.

Before and after the event, Tourism Noosa welcomed more than 30 international travel professionals from different companies and countries, including the UK, North America, Germany, Switzerland and France, immersing them in Noosa experiences as a powerful way to bring bookings and ensure Noosa’s $1.6 billion tourism industry remains viable for our economy.

Tourism Noosa Trade and Business Events Manager Vynka Hutton said it was a crucial opportunity to connect with international markets.

“This annual event is key to the development of our international trade relationships. We’ve seen strong demand and interest in Noosa from our key markets including the UK, USA and Northern Europe. It is very clear that these markets are travelling again, and Noosa is very much a desirable destination to visit,” she said.
